The LSP specializes in translation, localization, interpreting, and global marketing services. They translate more than 200 languages in 10 fields of expertise including medical device translation.
Problem
The client requested translation services of medical device manuals (Medical equipment field of expertise) from English into Chinese Simplified. The work should be done in SDL Trados.
Solution
Our professional translators who specialize in Medical Equipment got acquainted with the text and terms that were used in the text. Then they began translation by using glossaries and translation memories. Another step was to check the made translations for spelling, punctuation, terminology, and stylistic errors. After that, the translators run the QA check to make sure that there were no errors. The final step was to deliver the made translation to our Project Manager.
Result
The client expressed their gratitude and thanked us for the work we made. The translation services were of high level and that project would definitely help patients and healthcare workers to use the medical devices in a right and useful way!
