Problem
The client requested the service of translating and proofreading Pharmaceutical Product Guidance from English to Lithuanian. The target audience is clinicians and healthcare professionals, that is why linguists must follow EMEA templates and terminology guidelines.
Solution
Native Lithuanian translator and proofreader (they obtained MD degrees which is important for such translations and proofreadings) worked on this project. The translator did the translation without delaying the deadline. The proofreader used track changes and made all the necessary implementations after the translator’s work. Linguists did not use specific CAT-tools.
Result
The client accepted the work immediately. The client was satisfied with the deadline and quality of the service. The project made by our translator and proofreader helped the client provide clinicians and healthcare professionals with concise information about this product which resulted in increased awareness about the product.
