Problem
The client requested the service of editing the video subtitles from English to Serbian. It was necessary to translate the subtitles in such a way that they were accurate and at the same time were synchronic with the audio track. In addition, the video is an advertisement, so it was necessary to communicate all the marketing characteristics (attracting attention, call to action, etc.). Moreover, it was necessary to use medical terminology and provide accurate transmission of medical information
Solution
An experienced native Serbian linguist who has extensive experience as a medical representative in the pharmaceutical industry worked on this project. Therefore, the text was edited to meet the advertisement style requirements. The medical terminology was also corrected.
Result
We created a great text that can be used as subtitles for the video. The text of the translation in Serbian was synchronic with the speaker’s speech in English. After checking the translation, the customer was satisfied with the provided service and thanked us for our work.
